TIME: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm PLACE: Maidu Community Center, 1550 Maidu Drive, Roseville, CA American Basin Watershed Council is presenting a follow-up to the 2005 conference on Low Impact Development (LID). The guest speaker, Tom Richman, was the lead author of the "Start at the Source" handbook, the first Bay-area oriented publication to address LID and source control from a practical perspective. Speakers will highlight practical approaches for working with LID, and give updates on the NPDES Municipal Stormwater Discharges (Phase 2) and Construction General Activities permits. There is no cost for the conference; lunch is included and participants can attend all or part of the day, as their schedules allow.
