Maps / GIS Data
There are two main sources of maps and GIS data covering resources in the Central Sierra Region of California.
- Sacramento River Watershed Information Model (SWIM)
A tool for interactive, web-based maps that allows web users to explore the Sacramento River Watershed.
- Central Sierra Region GIS project
Sponsored by four resource conservation districts plus the USDA's Natural Resource Conservation Service, these maps show natural diversity, topography, fire threats, mineral availability, land ownership, and watersheds including the Yuba, Bear, and American River Watersheds.
